This film is the 2003 ultimate romantic comedy from the makers of Bridget Jones’s Diary and Notting Hill. Love Actually is the first movie Richard Curtis, who is a screenwriter, has directed. The movie featured many famous British actors, including Hugh Grant, Colin Firth, Bill Nighy, Emma Thompson, Liam Neeson, Alan Richman and Keira Knightly, in eight different love stories, which are connected.

The movie begins at an airport, and someone is talking about when the planes hit the Twin Towers. None of the phone calls from the people were messages of hate or revenge, and they were all messages of love; rather, he is bringing the title, Love Actually, out in this sentence, Love Actually is all around.

There are many parts in this movie. One of them is the story of Jamie, who discovers his girlfriend has other sexual relations, and then goes to his French cottage to write his book. He meets a Portuguese housekeeper named Aurelia. Although they do not use the same language, they can connect with each other. Love actually is all around. Another aspect of the movie is Mark who falls in love with his best friend’s wife, Juliet. One day, she comes to Mark’s house and wants to borrow Mark’s video about her wedding. After watching the video, she realizes that he truly has a special feeling for her, and then he uses an excuse to leave. When he gets out of the door, it plays Dido’s music, Here with Me, and showed his feelings, “I can’t hide, I cannot be until you’re resting here with me.” Love cannot be hidden, right?

This is a love story, especially at Christmas, the season of love. Some people can find true love, but some can not because of their family or some other reasons, but this movie lets us believe that love actually is all around, but is love actually all around? I cannot be sure of this, but I think that people should believe in love. If you have a belief in love, love will happen even though that’s just a movie. In this movie, music plays the most important role, and they express their inner feeling, for example Sarah’s song, Turn Me On from Norah Jones, and I like music, and I also use music to express my feelings which are hard to talk about it. This is a hopeful movie, and I recommend this movie, and I believe that it can bring you hope about love if you disappoint love or have been hurt by love.
