Alice in Wonderland is a very popular novel in the world and was written in 1865.

It is published in least eight languages, English, French, German, Swedish, Esperanto, Latin, Irish, Cornish, Chinese, Korean. Lewis Carroll's own copy of Alice, one of six surviving copies of the 1865 first edition, is sold at an auction for US$1.54 million to an anonymous American buyer. The book has inspired numberous film and TV adaptations. It totally has 24 editions, which direct and complete adaptation of the original books, but not actally based on the book, such as Tim Burton's 2010 film Alice in Wonderland, in 3-D. It appears in works influenced by Alice in Wonderland.
