Every year I will choose one Moleskine notebook for the year.

There are more choices, like weekly, 18 months weekly or different size etc.
I like One page a day. For 2018, I chose this large one.
And even including shopping fee (About US$8.00 for the first item), it's still cheaper than in Taiwan.

Recently I upgraded my Home Theatre from 5.1 to 7.1 Channels.
Not too expensive. Not taking for a long time.

How about upgrading life?
How long and how much it will take?
6 years in Canada?
What have I upgraded? English skills? Working skills?
Unfortunately life isn’t like some stories, movies, or fantastic novels.
A story that after you putted on backpack and travelled alone, you would get inspired.
A movie that you were the chosen one, and all you have been through would make who you are after.
A novel that you went to a mystery place and got a screech book, and then your talent would level up to the top. No one could compete with you.

I am still the one from 8 years ago who hasn’t levelled up.
As the old saying, Study/Learning is like sailing against the current; either you keep forging ahead or you keep falling behind.
I think life also can be in it.

First and foremost I want to personally thank the Human Rights Campaign for the incredible work that they’ve done and the work they continue to do. Not only here in Washington State but across the country and around the world.  As we all know this work is critical, it’s life-changing, it’s live-saving.  It is my great honor and privilege to be here tonight, to count myself a member of this community.  It is also something of a surprise.

首先，我個人要感謝人權運動完成了難以置信的工作，以及他們繼續執行的工作。不僅在華盛頓州，還有全國以及世界各地。我們都知道這項工作是至關重要的，是改變生活，是拯救生命。我非常勞幸今天能來到這裡，將自己算上這個共同體的一員。這也是令人大吃一驚。

The story of Diego, a young and successful photographer that lives in the glamorous world of fashion, shallowness and excess. A tragic accident turns his world around; his partner is now in a coma. Unexpectedly, and right at this terrible time, Diego must take care of his son, Armando. Now, both of them have to adapt to each other; Armando to the unknown, homosexual world of his father, and Diego to the closed attitude of his teenage son.

年輕帥氣的迪雅歌是平面攝影師，與婦產科醫生男友感情雖穩定，但似乎抗拒許下更多的承諾。某日，前妻急需他幫忙照顧兩人的15歲兒子，於是闊別五年的父子倆終於見面，不意外的關係冷淡且陌生。兒子阿曼多一直不能諒解父親為什麼拋棄他們，直到以難堪的方式發現原來自己的爸爸是同志。 

面對正值青春期的兒子，迪雅歌不知道如何與之相處，讓他理解並接受自己的性向。直到為了幫阿曼多追求喜愛跳探戈的女孩，推薦自己的變性友人傳授舞技，讓兒子重新接納自己以及開始融入他的生活。此時，卻傳來噩耗，親密愛人因遭受到反同志者的襲擊，生命垂危，施暴者卻因罪證不足而被釋放。

最近一些同事高中畢業
所以他們有一些畢業活動，讓我有一些感想，想跟大家分享，尤其是一些家長朋友

故事是這樣的
既然是高中畢業，所以自然就有了Party的這件事，在美國稱之為舞會
不同的點可能是由家長舉辦的，當然就是由部份家長自願來當作監護人
交通工具為學校的校車
讓各位畢業生及攜帶的伴可以在一個空間中自由且無顧慮的情況下來Party
約200人，而且可以喝酒
據我同事所說，他們玩得很開心，而且玩到隔天早上六七點
注意....真的是隔天早上六七點
而自願擔任監護人的家長也是陪同到隔天早上六七點

感想如下:相較於台灣的家長或者我自己的家長來說

1. 大概晚上11點左右就是問大家是不是該回家了? －掃興
2. 管制或禁止喝酒，所以小朋友們只好偷帶酒來偷喝。－不盡興
3. 或者小朋友們只好自己約出去Party，到夜店，在公共場合喝酒可能會跟其他陌生人起衝突。－不安全
4. 畢業活動，在台灣大概都丟給學校或小朋友自己，萬一不小心不幸地發生意外的時候，再來指責別人疏忽，但身為小孩家長的自己，到底付出了什麼?－不負責

可能有些家長會覺得是因為小孩不給跟或參與，或者小朋友不想讓家長參加或共處一個活動，是否是台灣的管教模式的造成的?
另外，我真的很欣賞這裡的家長可以陪這群小朋友玩到天亮，而且讓這群小朋友玩很盡興且開心
其中一個同事最後昏睡在卡車後面，他爸還拍下照片，絲毫沒有生氣的意思，而且還很高興身為這屆畢業Party的監護人
這事發生在台灣的小朋友身上，應該會被家長罵到臭頭了吧~
